My 2012 Challenge
1250 miles & 200,000 vertical feet
Each week I’ll update my progress on my challenge tab. I’ll need to average 24 miles and 3836 vertical feet/week to stay on target to complete the challenge. No slacking for me! I’ll need to stock up on vertical feet early because once kayaking enters the mix, my VF will go flat.

Hey, best of luck and very cool challenge. This is certainly a good way to stay in shape. I've been thinking about posting more of my stats on my own page. Without looking at the stats, after reaching 95 4000-footers in 2011, my elevation gain was somewhere between 160k-170k. The mix of activities should allow you to take care of that without issue. ReplyDeleteI still have to update my final 2012 stats.
Delete2013 will be less statistics. I'm working on my winter 46, and will be doing more bushwhack hikes. Backcountry skiing when the snow is good. More kayaking this summer.
